David Martin’s Terra and Ignazio Cipriani’s Mr. C hosted the Mr. C Residences Coconut Grove sales gallery grand opening party. The new development marks the first large-scale residential project for the Mr. C brand and is set to deliver a next-generation residential experience rooted in service, design, cuisine and lifestyle.
Residence interiors and amenity spaces are designed by Meyer Davis, who worked closely with Ignazio Cipriani and the Mr. C brand to create an experience on brand with the luxury hospitality company known for its old-world European sophistication, cuisine and nautical inspirations. Ray Fort of Arquitectonica, son of famed architecture duo Laurinda Spear and Bernardo Fort-Brescia, is leading designs for the building exterior.
The event brought together project leaders David Martin of Terra; Ignazio Cipriani, fourth generation of the Cipriani family and co-founder of the Mr. C brand; Bernardo Fort Brescia of Arquitectonica; Will Meyers of Meyer Davis; as well as Miami Mayor Francis Suarez. Long-time friends David Martin and Mayor Francis Suarez took the stage, alongside project leaders, to deliver passionate words honoring the project and the future of Coconut Grove, home to other projects pioneered by David Martin, including Bjarke Ingels-designed Grove at Grand Bay and the Rem Koolhaas/OMA-designed Park Grove.
