It’s clear to anyone who follows real estate that Terra head David Martin is bullish on Coconut Grove. And his hunch seems dead-on after the success of Grove at Grand Bay and Park Grove. As the neighborhood continues to reinvigorate itself (thanks to the efforts of Martin and other business owners), the developer has partnered with Ignazio Cipriani and his hospitality brand Mr. C to bring about the latter’s first large-scale residential project, Mr. C Residences Coconut Grove. The tower, just across the street from Regatta Harbour, will rise 20 stories and house 121 residences that, as Cipriani puts it, “will offer a contemporary take on European living, offering old-world sophistication with modern comfort, and combining the maritime tradition of both our brand and Coconut Grove.” More specifically, that means one- to five-bedroom residences ranging from 650 to 3,645 square feet and priced from the low $600,000s to more than $5 million. Raymond Fort of Arquitectonica will lead the design for the building while Meyer David will curate the interiors with the aforementioned maritime themes front of mind. Sounds like smooth sailing to us. 2640 S. Bayshore Drive, Miami, 786.522.2420
